worship through action

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksike, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Nakoda Nations, the Metis Nation (Region 3) and all people who make their home in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

Irricana United Church is located on Hwy 567 between the city of Airdrie and the town of Irricana. Our local, rural setting provides a unique location for worship as well as contemplation, reflection and support. We are a casual church with worship services ranging from traditional to contemporary.

Our Church is open and all are welcome. We invite you to join us each Sunday morning at 10:30 am for service. Coffee & Conversation following service.
Come as you are comfortable.

Sunday, March 8.
Iona Lane
– Singer Songwriter from Scotland
Highlands-based songwriter Iona Lane’s album Swilkie blends ecology, folklore, and island landscapes into poetic songs. Written during residencies on the Isles of Eigg, Mull, and Sanday, the album reflects a deep connection to the sea, wildlife, and conservation. Recorded in a Scottish boathouse, its subtle guitar, evolving vocals, and droning shruti box evoke the natural world. Collaborating with a talented group of musicians, Iona’s lead single “Torus” explores the history and revival of basking sharks. Swilkie includes a second disc of location recordings, offering intimate insight into her creative process and inspirations.
